Hi there from KCU College of Dental Medicine ASDA!
As one of the newest ASDA chapters, founded in 2023, our mission is to serve both our student members and to improve the well-being of the communities we serve. Our chapter gets involved through outreach, advocacy, and organized dentistry. At Kansas City University, we are proud to collaborate closely with the Missouri Dental Association to promote professional growth and involvement at the state level.
We're excited to grow our presence on campus and build a strong foundation for years to come. As a new chapter, we are focused on creating lasting traditions, building relationships with sponsors and partners, and showing our peers the value of being involved in ASDA. We’re also encouraging participation in our auto-enroll program so that every student can benefit from ASDA and ADA membership from day one.
Through the dedication of our amazing officers and members, we’re putting together meaningful events and initiatives that support student wellness, professional development, and community impact.
We can’t wait to see the legacy we’ll build as we shape the future of our chapter and contribute to the broader dental community!

Supporting the well-being of our students is our top priority. Each year, our chapter officers plan and host a wide variety of events designed to foster growth, connection, and community.
We kick off the school year with Fever Week, culminating in our beloved Annual Crawfish Boil, a school favorite that sets the tone for the exciting year ahead.
Upcoming highlights for this year include:
● Wellness Month, featuring our newest tradition: the Prophy Cup Golf Tournament
● Advocacy Month
● Hands-on student workshops
● Service Month
● The Pre-Dental Symposium
● Our spring Cookout
● A special end-of-year surprise for our students
● Plus, countless lunch & learns and socials generously supported by our sponsors
We are proud to be actively involved with the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), the Kansas Dental Association (KDA), and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. We also look forward to representing our chapter at the district and national ASDA conferences each year.
We are grateful to be a part of the new ASDA District 9 family! We are excited to collaborate with our fellow chapters and look forward to the impact we will make on our profession and communities. Here’s to a great year ahead: full of growth, connection, and leadership!

The Creighton University School of Dentistry chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is committed to advancing the rights, interests, and welfare of dental students. Through Lunch and Learns, Lobby Day, and other student-led events, Creighton ASDA offers students opportunities to engage in organized dentistry and collaborate with various businesses at local, state, and national levels. Members learn about debt and practice management, develop interdisciplinary skills, and network with other dental professionals, preparing them for successful careers post-graduation.
Reflecting Creighton University’s Jesuit values, the Creighton ASDA chapter emphasizes service, justice, and holistic education. Hello from Oklahoma ASDA!
Our chapter at the University of Oklahoma takes pride in our broad involvement within the Oklahoma dental community. At the University of Oklahoma, we maintain an average student membership rate of 97%, reflecting our students’ strong commitment to organized dentistry and professional development.
Oklahoma ASDA is working harder than ever to serve our students, our profession, and our community. We encourage students to get involved and take advantage of the many opportunities offered throughout the year, including lunch-and-learns, social hours, leadership events, and networking opportunities.
Among many other events, Oklahoma ASDA hosts Pre-Dental Simulation Days, which give prospective and incoming dental students the opportunity to learn directly from current dental students through hands-on experiences and mentorship. These events help educate future dental students about the profession, the dental school experience, and the path ahead in their careers.
ASDA strives to foster an educational and supportive community where dental students can grow professionally, stay informed on current issues affecting dentistry, and become better prepared for the careers ahead of them. By educating students on the evolving future of the dental profession, we help them recognize the importance of maintaining a unified voice in both their education and professional lives.
